NYC has become a safe haven for all sorts of quick, tasty, healthy food options – and it feels like new spots are opening up every week. I love how many of these restaurants truly embrace plant-based eating by creating dishes that show off how delicious veggies can be.

Finally, there’s little excuse not to eat well when you’re out or short on time. I’ve compiled a (short) list of 20 fast casual restaurants with healthy offerings that I’m happy to share with you.

*Please note that not every meal at each restaurant is equally nutritious! It’s still up to you to make good choices. For a well-balanced, satisfying meal, always include lots of veggies, a complex carbohydrate, and a (hopefully plant-based) protein.
